MOU between SNGC (BMM Dept) and School of Media & Cultural Studies (TISS)

The signing ceremony of the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between Sree Narayana Guru College (BMM Dept) and School of Media & Cultural Studies (TATA INSTITUTE of SOCIAL SCIENCES) was held on 18 th December 2015 at Sree Narayana Guru College, Chembur.
The MOU was signed by Shri M.I Damodaran Chairman of Sree Narayana Mandira Samiti and Dr.K.P. Jayasankar Dean of School of Media & Cultural studies.
This MOU facilitates the mutual sharing of best practices and expertise in learning Photography, Production & other media related aspects required for the professional development of BMM students.
The students of SNGCC made an educational visit on 26 th February 2016 to Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS) wherein they were shown umentaries made by the students of TISS & were also exposed to various equipment’s & facilities like the recording room & editing software’s used for the purpose of production.
This collaboration will help both SNGCC and SMCS TISS to deepen our knowledge and understanding of best practices in Mass Media education and learning.
Through partnerships such as this (with SMCS), SNGCC seeksa to enhance the accessibility, quality, and effectiveness of training and learning for the Home Team.
